Public invited to learn about Islam and Muslims

The people of Tralee and Kerry will get to have an opportunity to learn about Islamic faith and Muslim culture when the Kerry Islamic Outreach Society (KIOS) hosts their Seventh Annual Islamic Cultural Exhibition this August.

The event will be held at the Parkview hall, in the Brandon Hotel, Tralee on Saturday, August 27, from 12pm to 5pm and will be open and free for everyone to attend, refreshments will also be provided.

The exhibition organisers, along with volunteers, hope to enhance social cohesion, clear misconceptions and build bridges while educating both Muslim and non-Muslim members of the community about the many facets of Islam.
